Coach Evans was honored to be selected as the offensive line coach for the West in the Big 33 Game in 2018 and is a member of PSFCA, serving as one of the District 7 Directors. He was voted the Skylights Coach of the Year in 2018 and the WPIAL 6A Coach of the Year in 2019. Prior to arriving at Canon Mac, Coach Evans was the Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator at California University of PA. While at Cal, he was able to learn from some of the brightest offensive minds in the game in Walt Harris (former Head Coach - Pitt and Stanford) and Mike Jacobs Sr. Rick Bell will enter his first season as an assistant on the Duquesne women’s basketball coaching staff during the 2021-22 season. (former Offensive Coordinator - WVU and Ohio State) who both had stints at Cal U as Offensive Coordinators. Bell brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the Bluff, including notably an 18-year career as the head boys basketball coach at nearby Canon-McMillan High School from 2001-2019.
